Honeybee Home Healthcare was founded by Anna Mandac. She has provided home healthcare to a wide variety of patients for many years. Additionally, Anna is a Licensed Practical Nurse who has worked in hospitals and nursing homes.
As demand for Anna’s services increased, she decided to form an official company to meet the fast-growing need for skilled geriatric care in Cleveland, Ohio and the surrounding Eastern suburbs of Shaker Heights, Beachwood and Aurora.
The company’s name came from Anna’s Mom’s middle name, “Bee.” Bee is also a caregiver who works with Anna, and one of her clients affectionately calls her Honey Bee. “I liked the image the name evoked -- bees working efficiently around the hive,” Anna says. “That’s us!”
Honeybee Healthcare is professionally licensed and bonded. We carry BGM(?) insurance. Our team consists of Home Health Aides (HHAs) and State-Tested Nurse Assistants (STNAs). Additionally, all of our caregivers are hand-selected and carefully vetted.
Our care team consists of compassionate people who are responsible, reliable and fully committed to providing quality care. We’ve also established numerous protocols to ensure consistency and accountability.
We work on improving a patient’s basic, life-sustaining habits to make a positive difference in their life. Through attentive and nurturing care, we’re able to help clients thrive while living independently at home.

Honeybee Home Healthcare focuses on four cornerstones of care:
Honeybee Home Healthcare tailors care plans to your needs. You sign no contracts, and you’re not obligated to hire us for a set number of hours per week. We work together with you to develop a custom plan that includes the tasks you’ve outlined, and we’re always willing to modify the plan if the client’s needs change.
We create a detailed intake form to cover all the key areas. We then review the form with the caregiver assigned to your loved one. And because communication must flow both ways, we have our caregivers fill out a form for each visit, so we know what’s been done and can notify you of any concerns.
If you or a loved one needs in-home assistance, we highly recommend being proactive. All too often we meet with family members who are dealing with a loved one’s health crisis or an emergency such as a serious fall or medication mismanagement. Honeybee Healthcare can give you peace of mind that your loved one is safe and getting the care they need.
Our clients often tell us, “Now I can stop worrying.” They’re able to focus on their own daily life only when they know their loved one is safe and receiving good care.
