Her healthcare background includes experience in home healthcare, Cleveland Clinic intensive care, University Hospitals neurosurgery stepdown, assisted living, private duty care, and recovery-focused support environments. Her clinical experience, combined with her leadership and client-centered approach, allows her to thoughtfully guide families through the caregiving journey while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and caregivers.
In addition to leading Honeybee Home Healthcare, Anna serves as a Sponsor with The Hive House in Minnesota where she provides peer mentorship, accountability, and recovery support to women navigating sobriety and personal growth within a structured sober living environment. Through this role, she supports women in developing healthy routines, maintaining accountability, building life skills for long-term recovery success, and fostering a healing-centered community rooted in empowerment, structure, and second chances.
Anna thoughtfully oversees Honeybee’s agency operations, caregiver recruitment, client experience, and care coordination while cultivating a culture grounded in compassion, trust, integrity, and excellence. Beyond healthcare, Anna is also a professional violinist and graduate of The Juilliard School in New York City, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Performance degree as a distinguished scholarship recipient. Through her music brand, Suzuki Strings Collective, she provides refined live violin performances for weddings, senior communities, private events, and community gatherings throughout Northeast Ohio. She is also known for incorporating therapeutic music performances into care environments for her clients and local senior communities!

Additionally, Anna has a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from The Juilliard School where she was a Distinguished Scholarship recipient. She’s even been known to play the violin for some of her patients!

At Honeybee Home Healthcare, Mary Takacs brings more than 35 years of nursing experience, compassionate leadership, and a deep commitment to elevating the client and caregiver experience. As a seasoned Registered Nurse, Mary serves as a trusted clinical mentor and advocate for high-quality, relationship-centered care.
Mary’s extensive clinical background includes 16 years of Med/Surg nursing experience at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in acute patient care, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She later spent more than 13 years as a Registered Nurse at Menorah Park Campus specializing in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, followed by over 10 years as a Charge Nurse at Aurora Manor Special Care Centre overseeing the care of skilled clients with complex medical needs.
Her experience across hospital, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long-term care settings has given her a comprehensive understanding of patient advocacy, chronic disease management, transitional care, and caregiver mentorship..
Mary earned her Associate’s Degree in Registered Nursing from the University of the State of New York and holds training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), critical care nursing, communication, and clinical leadership.
Known for her calm presence, warm communication style, and natural ability to connect with others, Mary combines strong clinical judgment with heartfelt compassion.
